Scheduled for completion in early 2028, Brightwood will provide 53 affordable apartment homes, including 32 family-sized two- and three-bedroom residences. The development is designed to help address the growing demand for larger affordable housing options in North Seattle while fostering a welcoming, connected community for residents. Brightwood is being constructed by Absher Construction Co. and will be owned and operated by Bellwether Housing. Through a partnership with FamilyWorks, residents will also have access to supportive services and resources that promote housing stability, well-being, and long-term success.

Creating a community that both complements its neighborhood and encourages connection was a central goal of the design. Located within walking distance of transit, schools, parks, and everyday services, Brightwood will offer residents convenient access to the resources they need. One of the development’s most significant assets is its location adjacent to the North Seattle Boys & Girls Club, providing children and families with easy access to programs that support learning, recreation, personal growth, and community engagement.
