Located on the south edge of Bellevue's downtown core, the SOMA towers ground themselves with a multistory podium of tiered public plazas. The "sister" towers provide over 430,000 gross square feet that include 273 apartment units, numerous amenity options, and 5 levels of below grade parking. Amenity options include a club lounge, fitness room, swimming pool, and media room, each of which are directly connected to the shared outdoor terrace on level three. The base of the building draws direct connections to the public zones that surround it by providing local retail space, areas for community markets, and opportunities for small public gatherings. This multi-tiered public area is connected by an anchoring design element in the center of the project. Above the base structure, the towers are sculpted and oriented in a fashion that maximizes views of the surrounding while also considering natural daylight and solar heat gain. The mosaic pattern of white spandrels offer texture and a sense of movement that follows the overall form of the project.
