Jefferson Station is a four-story mixed-use building that presides at a visible and active intersection on Beacon Hill. The building has a very neighborhood feel—located in a walkable and lively setting, it’s surrounded by coffee shops, restaurants, retail and services. The crowning achievement of this project was executing a vision that fits into the community in both scale and context.
Jefferson Station has a look and feel that’s warm and natural, with wood and brick oscillating throughout. The thoughtful massing breaks down the scale of the building, enabling it to fit in seamlessly with the context of Beacon Hill. The building’s materiality and colors provide visual interest and shine a spotlight on the design elements of the program.
Program: 49 apartments, 15 parking stalls, retail, lobby. Private outdoor spaces. Amenity rooftop with outdoor terrace including two separate barbecue and lounging spaces. Superb views of Bellevue, Lake Washington and back toward Downtown Seattle and Elliott Bay beyond.
